Biography

1988-1992 – studied at the Romanos Melikyan Music College, vocal department
(Prof. Tamara Hambardzumyan).
1992-1996 – studied at the State Conservatory, vocal department and got post-graduate vocal education (Prof. Anna Sarajyan).
1997 – Specialized in vocal at the European Mozart Academy in Poland (Prof. Kerstin Mayer, Eva Blahova, Alexander Satz, Aurelie Nicolet, and Imre Rohmann).
1998 – Master-classes with Arax Davtyan (Armenia).
2000 - Founded “Saghmos” cultural center
2000 – Master-classes with Mariana Nicolesco in Romania.
2001 – Master-classes with Carol Smith in Switzerland.
2001 – Studied at the Villecroze academy with Professor Anna Reynolds (France-Germany).
Laureate of Komitas (Armenia1994) and Austro-German vocal competitions (Armenia1996), Hariklea Darklee (Romania, 2000) and Ibla-Grand Prize (Italy, 2001) international competitions.
1999-present – Professor of Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan.
1995-present – Soloist in the St. Katoghike Church of Kotayk diocese.
2000-present – Artistic director of "Music Masters of Armenia"
traditional and sacred music ensemble.
Since 1989 had numerous concerts and participated in festival
performances in Armenia and abroad. Has many CD and DVD recordings.
